Something For Everyone!

At 4ARTSAKE, we offer a rotating curriculum of affordable Beginner and Intermediate classes and workshops, in a wide variety of mediums, designed to empower students to start creating right away. Whether you are looking to build your toolkit as an illustrator, a writer, a musician, a crafter, or any other type of artist, we have a class planned to strengthen your skills.

We believe that everyone deserves access to resources and art education, so we offer all of our courses on a sliding scale. We aim to make all of our classes affordable and accessible, but if you see a class that you would like to take, but find that it is outside your budget, please reach out and let us work with you! Our space is your space, and you are always welcome!

Our First (FREE!) Workshops

In Quarter 3 of 2025, we will be offering the following free workshops, designed to introduce people to the space, and begin building a community of artists. We have yet to begin Open Enrollment, but if you are interested in one of the following classes, sign up for the wait list at the bottom of this section, because they will fill up fast!

How To Use Procreate

Procreate is one of the most affordable, and most powerful, illustration programs available today, and an extremely useful and powerful tool for visual artists at every level.

In this course you will learn how to: create a project; navigate the interface; use the default digital brushes; navigate the color tools; save your progress; and export finished works.

Start Writing Flash Fiction

Storytelling is an integral part of the human experience, and as a medium, flash fiction boils the story down to its core elements in the name of punchy, impactful, and efficient presentation.

In this workshop we will study flash fiction pieces, discuss what makes something flash fiction, and work on several writing exercises to help you get started creating flash fiction of your own.

Record Your Album at Home

The tools to record sound and music at home are cheap and widely available — but how to prioritize? How do you get the most bang for your buck and have the most fun possible while recording your music?

In this class we’ll will cover the audio basics that apply to whatever you’re recording — podcasts, electronic music, extreme metal, acoustic folk, et cetera — as well as which tools are right for the job.

Be Your Own Promoter

It’s hard enough finishing songs. Finding a place to play them is a whole other thing entirely. Whether you’re a solo instrumental artist or a full band—finding, booking, and promoting shows is a very intimidating process.

In this workshop we’ll discuss: how to find venues (or make your own!); how to book and promote your shows; and how to build a rep so you can keep gigging.

Sign up for our wait list to ensure that you don’t miss out on these awesome FREE Workshops! Just let us know who you are, how to contact you, and which class(es) you would like to take, and we will reach out as soon as enrollment begins :)
